Under the busy streets of New York City is a perfectly preserved monument to the city's transportation system. First built one hundred years ago, and shut down in 1945, it has been dormant and untouched for years. Recently the New York City Subway Organization took photographer Fred Guenther underground to document this amazing abandoned place.
