Australian born London-based artist Ron Mueck is a former television and film model maker with no formal art training. His hyper realistic sculptures of anatomically perfect human beings in grand proportions are visually jarring. His crouching boy is 16 feet tall, made of fiberglass, resin and silicone, and currently resides at the Aros Art Museum in Denmark.
