Henk Hofstra was tired of the boring main square of Leeuwarden in the Netherlands, so he decided to do something about it. His team spent two days painting the eggs, some 100 feet across. Hours after, 80 percent of the people who saw it said it was hideous. After 2 weeks, 80 percent said it's brilliant. So many tourist have come to see the eggs that all the town's shops had incredible boosts in sales.
