Flight of the Monarchs

Amazingly, millions of Monarch butterflies migrate each winter to Mexico's mountain fir forests. They surf the wind from Southern Canada and the Northern United States traveling thousands of miles using directional clues from the sun. This photograph was taken by Joel Sartore who shoots for National Geographic.
