The National Geographic Channel and a team of scientists, engineers, and two world class balloonists, successfully flew a house for a new world record. The house measures 16 feet by 16 feet and is 18 feet tall. They used 300 8 foot colored weather balloons and launched it from a private airstrip east of Los Angeles. It set a new world's record for the largest balloon cluster flight ever attempted. It reached an altitude of over 10,000 feet, and flew for about an hour.
