Salt Hotel

High in the Andean mountains in Bolivia is the Salt Hotel. It is surrounded by a sea of white. It's not a sea or snow, but actually 10 billion tons of salt. On the biggest salt flat in the world, the entire hotel and all of the contents are made from salt. Everything from the tables, chairs and beds, to the walls, the floors and the roof are entirely consisting of salt. Salt building blocks are fused together by a mixture of water and salt, which creates a very strong cement-like material.
