The beautiful Orion Nebula has been seen from earth for many thousands of years. It is an interstellar cloud in the Milky Way which contains hundreds of thousands of solar masses that will eventually form into stars. In about 100,000 years, the gasses and dust particles will disappear and will leave a group of bright young shining stars.
