Pricey Dessert

Chef Marc Guibert at Lindeth Howe County House Hotel in Windermere, Cumbria, in Northern England, has created a very expensive dessert, selling for $34,000. His extravagant chocolate cake/pudding is decorated with edible gold leaf, layered champagne jelly and biscuit jaconde. It is covered in dark chocolate, glazed with more gold leaf, and topped with a 2 carat diamond.
