Devils Marbles

The Devils Marbles Conservation Area is 4500 acres of dry outback in Australia, where you can find hundreds of rounded rocks. The granite stones have survived millions of years of erosion giving them round edges. Some of the rocks are over 20 feet in diameter, and some of them are smaller than 12 inches. You will find fields of the rocks on this sacred site, and the Aborigines believe that the rocks are fossilized eggs of the Rainbow Serpent.
