Deans Blue Hole
In a bay west of Clarence Town on Long Island in the Bahamas is the deepest blue hole known in the world. The term blue hole is given to sinkholes that are filled with water and have an entrance located beneath the surface. Most other blue holes on earth are at a maximum depth of 360 feet, while Deans Blue Hole is very deep, dropping down to 663 feet.
