Sculpture Gardens

Francisco Brennand, an accomplished artist from Recife, Brazil, created an immense compound filled with over 2,000 of his statues, paintings and ceramics. Complete with incredible gardens, temples and reflecting pools, the grounds are open to visitors on a regular basis. At age 82, Brennand still works on the site, and has completed many commissioned projects in the past few years. His brother Ricardo has a museum nearby in Recife that houses the world's largest collection of pocketknives.
