Lake Baikal
Located in the south of the Russian region of Siberia is Lake Baikal. It is the world's deepest lake, with an average depth of 2,442 feet. Lake Baikal holds an amazing 20% of all of the world's fresh surface water. Known as the "Pearl of Siberia", it is also among the clearest of all lakes in the world.
