Hot Lips

Psychotria Elata, or also known as "Hooker's Lips" or "The Hot Lips Plant" is found in tropical rainforests of Central and South American countries like Colombia, Costa Rica, Panama, and Ecuador. It evolved into this shape mainly to attract pollinators like hummingbirds and butterflies. Endangered due to deforestation, the rare plant resembles lips for only a short time, until a blossom starts emerging from the middle.
