A solar birdhouse designed by Dutch designer Guido Ooms has a small solar panel in its roof. During the day, the sunlight charges a small battery inside. At night, the transparent perch will light up to shed a tiny light on the garden. It attracts an easy nighttime snack for the bird...all they have to do is stick their beak out and wait for a flying insect to arrive.
