An abandoned slaughterhouse or "matadero" in Azul, Argentina, is one of over 60 Art Deco inspired buildings in rural communities near Buenos Aires. Italian architect Francisco Salamone designed and built them in Argentina from 1936 to 1940.
Rather than bore you with the same "design philosophy" blog entries that every other design agency seems to post, I search for visually interesting things around the world that are a little unusual. I hope you enjoy the discoveries as much as I do posting them.
