1948 Buick Streamliner
In the 1940's, mechanical engineer Norman E. Timbs decided to make the ultimate American hot rod. He designed this dramatic car by himself, which included using a custom aluminum body and a steel chassis. It took him over two years to complete, and this chic roadster was good enough to don the covers of Motor Trend and Motor Life magazines.
