Amazing Mosaic
Ukranian artist Oksana Mas has used 3,640,000 hand painted wooden eggs to create a mosaic of the Ghent Altarpiece that was painted by the Eyck brothers. It took nine months to assemble and complete the piece. She used wooden eggs that were hand painted from people in all walks of life, from inmates to intellectuals, in 42 different countries. It measures 276 x 402 feet, and is exhibited inside the Church of San Fantin in Venice, Italy.
