The Da Vinci Bridge
500 years ago, Leonardo Da Vinci designed this bridge for Sultan Bajazet II to span the Golden Horn in Istanbul. The sultan's engineers did not believe that it could ever be built. Now 500 years later, this bridge spans a highway 20 miles north of Oslo, Norway. It is the first engineering project to ever have been built from Da Vinci's drawings.
