Everyone calls them Starfish, but that's misleading because they aren't fish, but a close cousin to sand dollars and sea urchins. Marine biologists call them Sea Stars which is more appropriate. Most Sea Stars have 5 arms, but of the 2,000 species around the world, some have up to 50 arms, and come in a rainbow of different colors.
