Postage Cork
Portugal is the world's leader in the manufacturing of cork, so in 2007, they commemorated that fact by issuing a postal stamp depicting a cork tree on a hill. The interesting thing is that the stamps are made entirely out of real cork. They are wafer thin with a thickness of only .35mm, and because cork comes from living trees, no two stamps are alike.
