The 1947 Tatra was an aerodynamic car with top speeds of 100 miles per hour delivered by a rear mounted engine. When you think of auto manufacturers, Czechoslovakia doesn't come to mind, but the Czech company Tatra is the third oldest auto manufacturer in the world behind Daimler Mercedes-Benz and Peugot. Tatra made these great retro cars from 1936 to 1950, and then concentrated only on trucks instead. They still make trucks today.
