Volcanic Lightning

Photographer Martin Rietze recently went to southern Kyushu in Japan to capture the active and erupting Sakurajima Volcano. Spewing magnificent smoke, fire, and lava bombs, the atmosphere was so charged that lightning continued to strike throughout his photo journey.
