Popeye's Village

On the beautiful coastline of Malta in the Mediterranean sea, sits a real life Popeye's Village. Also called Sweethaven Village, it is an ideal family vacation spot and is a major tourist attraction for the small country of Malta. The village is the actual film set built and used by Paramount Pictures and Walt Disney Productions for filming the 1980 film "Popeye".
The attraction has play pools, boat rides, water trampolines, museums, wine tasting, and many other things to see and experience. And of course there are models of all the characters, Popeye the Sailor, Olice Oyl, Bluto, Swee'Pea and Wimpy.
