Haunted Lighthouse

In Palos Verdes, California, is a lighthouse that is haunted. Erected in 1926 at Point Vicente with a light beam that originally would shine 20 miles out to sea, it helped ships avoid the craggy coastline. After the war, the light beams were an annoyance to the locals, so they painted over the glass with white paint. At night the shadow of a woman in her nightgown could be seen through the painted windows. She is called "The Lady of the Light", and it is believed that she is the wife of the first lighthouse keeper, who tragically fell to her death wandering the cliffs one foggy night.
