Salar de Uyuni
Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia is the highest and largest salt flats in the world. Covering 3,861 square miles, it yields half of the world's lithium which is extracted for use in batteries and medicines. Above, the sun slowly sets, making the entire lake shimmer magically in reflected light.
