Photographer Tomas Rak does microscopic photography of insects. To get the amazing details, he takes up to 680 separate shots to make one whole image. The insect is placed on a special micro slide that lets Tomas move them one fifth of a millimeter at a time. Using a computer editing program, he puts the shots all together to create an image, such as the wasp above, that allows for detail as never seen before.
