Bright colors and whimsical images are a stark contrast to the Post-Soviet Ukraine in Russia. A group of artists known as "Interesni Kazki", or "Interesting Fairy Tales", paints these fanciful images on brick, plaster, stone and wood buildings. They are an unexpected jolt of happiness in a landscape of both urban and rural decay.
