Canadian Amber
A treasure trove of dinosaur feathers preserved in amber have been found in Canada. Pictured is a veined feather barb that is dated from 70 to 85 million years old. The feathers show the link between winged dinosaurs and earlier birds, indicating that feathers were already appearing on dinosaurs before the non-avian dinosaurs were extinct.
