Golden Dart Frog
This beautiful frog is found in the rain forests of Ecuador and Peru. The frog is tiny, but deadly. The frog's poison is a batrachotoxin that kills by blocking the body's nerve impulses, contracting the muscles, and then causing heart failure. The Choco Embera tribespeople use the poison for their arrows, which stays deadly toxic for up to two years on the tips of them.
