Birds of a Feather

Ian Davey from Wales is an artist that uses swan feathers as his canvas. He only uses feathers that fall naturally to the ground during the birds' annual molting season. He cleans them and then straightens them out perfectly using tweezers. He applies a primer and then paints on the feathers with acrylic paints. His feather art is selling in the thousand dollar range.
