Forest Towers
In Milan, Italy, architect Stefano Boeri has designed two condominium towers, one 360 feet high, and the other 246 feet high, that are literally a vertical forest. Named Bosco Verticale, it has giant cantilevered balconies that are at least 2 stories high, which can accommodate some fairly big trees.
The residents will live a cleaner, greener life...more humidity and oxygen will be produced, the foliage will absorb CO2 and dust particles, and there will be greater protection from radiation and acoustic pollution.
