Film professor Cy Kuckenbaker did this remarkable composite video of all of the planes landing at San Diego International Airport in a five hour period from 10:30 am to 3:pm. He shot the planes individually against a bright blue sky, and then used a process called Chroma Key or Green Screen to make the sky transparent. Then he layers in the planes from separate videos.
