This 1957 Messerschmitt 3-wheeled KR 201 Roadster was built by a German aircraft manufacturer. Remarkable for its time, it broke speed records on race circuits, and got 87 miles per gallon in fuel efficiency. 40,000 were produced in the late 50's and early 60's. This particular car above is in mint condition, and will probably fetch $70,000 at auction.
