The Wattle Cup Caterpillar
The Wattle Cup Caterpillar grows into a bland looking moth of the Limacodidae Family, and is abundantly found throughout Australia. They have legs that are reduced in size in comparison to most other caterpillars, so they move much like a slug. Despite its vibrant and beautiful appearance, it has a potent sting that is said to be worse than three wasp stings.
