Luo Dan, a painter from Chonqing, China wears a deer mask over his head every day since 2009. The painter says that wearing the mask, he can find an "inner peace" that was otherwise missing because the deer is a tame animal. "When I wear the mask, I feel I am a deer from within." The fake animal head also influences his art as well, becoming a central part of his works.
